a majority of students in Years 3 to 6 are achieving within or above broad age appropriate expectations in both reading and mathematics….
Significant numbers of individuals and groups of students are enjoying success both at school and local level in a range of sporting, cultural and academic activities, events and competitions.
Mission Statement
We see our purpose being:
- “To provide our tamariki with the stimulation, challenge and support needed to become successful 21st century learners”.
Beliefs
Those things we hold important are:
- Respect for others reflected through honesty, tolerance non-discrimination, caring and compassion,
- recognition and respect for diversity of culture, background and identity
- recognition and provision for instruction in Te Reo and Tikanga Maori
- learning which is based on the child’s needs,
- innovative teaching that fully utilises advances in information and communication technology,
- involvement of parents and wider community in the life of the school.
